There were people who thought only of their own desires and tried to get their way not through their own power, but through the power of God.

Because they placed their trust in those people and tried so hard to make their wishes come true by forming bonds with them, the God who had been there disappeared.

In that landscape, which appeared so beautiful, God was no longer present; only human desire remained.

I have depicted the tragedy of God’s disappearance—a tragedy that has unfolded as humanity has undergone profound changes from ancient times to the present day.
